When I saw just how many wonderful pictures we had of the party, I knew we would need to split it up into several posts. I hope you all like candy land birthday parties (for the next week, at least).
Let’s start from the beginning, we had the party in our backyard. The sidewalk to the backyard was lined with lollipops…
The buckets were filled with jelly beans that we stuck her pictures into. We cut out vinyl sticker numbers using the Cricut for the front of each bucket.
For the hot dog bar I used bright colored bowls for cheese, onions, kraut, relish, chili and banana peppers and squeeze bottles for ketchup, mustard and Sneaky Pete’s sauce (per Allen’s request).
We had three different dip/chip combos. We had this bean dip with tortilla chips, bacon-cheddar ranch dip with Fritos and the classic french onion dip with Ruffles.
The drink table was also under the tent and to the right of the food.
I picked up two beverage dispensers from WM recently and we used those for the sweet tea and pink lemonade. The bucket in the middle held ice and we used glass containers for the brightly colored straws.
A better view…
I LOVE these water bottle labels. They were self adhesive so I just peeled off the label and stuck those right on the bottle. So easy.
To the left of the food table was the cake table. My friend, Ashly made the cake along with Braylen’s smash cake. The cakes coordinated perfectly with party and tasted just as good as they looked!
I made two cupcake stands to go on either side of the cake to balance the table out.
The “smash” cake (I’ve got more pictures of this to share later this week)…
My mom, Haley and I made these cupcake toppers.
I used white table cloths throughout and cut bright fabric circles to go on the table cloths.
I had some cute candy labels made with Candy Land scenes on one side and “Happy Birthday Braylen” on the other…
Tissue paper poms hung over the candy bar.
