Let’s just, for my sanity, call it Whenever Bait, becasue I’m not waiting until next year to get my hands on it again.
2 cups pretzels
1 bag popped white popcorn
1 package Almond Bark white melting chocolate
1 bag of festive M&M’s
2 cups of Chex cereal
1 container of sprinkles
Spread pretzels, popcorn and Chex on an foil covered bakinig sheet and drizzle white chocolate over the mixture. Gently stir to coat evenly. Add sprinkles but don’t stir it anymore or the sprinkles will be coated with chocolate and turn white. Let harden on cookie sheets and then break apart and add M&M’s to the finished mixture.
The ideas for packaging are endless, cute bags to give away as favors or just put it in a big bowl and it will be a hit at any party.

Absolutely genius!!! Can’t wait to try this!!! ๐

Sounds so yummy! The Easter colors also remind me of a birthday celebration… and we’ve got one coming up in a few weeks.
Looks like I’ve got an excuse to make this delicious snack!
Cajun Cowgirl says
Yes please! And this Cajun needs to find a way to “Mardi Gras” it!
Crisitna H. says
I know there is a web sight you can go to for the M&M’s to order a ton of different colors. I would look there for the Mardi Gras colors, and then I would use the colored sprinkles that they use on the King cakes.
Jennifer says
Great Idea!
Heather says
YUM! I think there are several recipes that need to be incorporated through the year…like pumpkin pie!

Yum yum yum!

This looks so good and easy! I’m going to make one for St. Patricks day, using lucky charms!

“1 bag popped popcorn” How many cups is in a ‘bag’ approximately? There are so many different sizes of bags of popcorn out there. Or coud it be one bag of popped microwave popcorn? Or one bag of unpopped popcorn, popped? The possibilities are endless….
Amy R. says
I think that its up to you and you can adjust if you like. If you find you want less popcorn you might cut it down to 3/4 of a bag or a bag and a 1/2 its whatever you like
Trish says
How much does this make? I’m looking to fill 35 snack sized bags for my sons preschool snack.
Jennifer says
I would double, just to be safe!
Jen N says
I served it to my daughter’s preschool class of 18. I doubled the recipe and still had quite a bit left over. I would recommend just adding a few M & M’s to each bag rather than putting them with the mix. They all go to the bottom of the container.

I made a batch this afternoon, it:s fantastic!!!! My daughters baby shower is April 21st and I wanted to do a trial run on this recipe. I’m glad I did!!!
Tammy says
Almond Bark white melting chocolate…where can you buy this and can you substitue it for white chocolate chips ?
Jennifer says
Hi Tammy- I Almond Bark is the brand of chocolate I use, it is in all of our area grocery stores. I’m sure you can sub for any chocolate that is sold as “,e;ting chocolate” it just needs to melt smoothly.
Carol says
I’m going to make this for a lady’s lucheon as party favors. Awesome idea!

I saw this recipe on FB, and needed to find where it originally came from since it’s too cute.

This would be even more awesome with little pieces of rice crispy treats added to the mix !!!
Sandra Ruper says
Made this last year and added a little fruit loops for more Easter pastel color/

This looks great. I am going to use Quakers Buttered Popcorn flavor rice cakes instead of popcorn. My grandchildren have braces and this prevents the kernels from getting stuck in them. They are really good and I can’t wait to try this.
Maria says
I make this but I use white chocolate chips melted.
Maria says
That is what I am going to use.

I made this for my sons class party and it was a hit! I only used about 3/4 of a package of the chocolate to even out the sweet/salty taste ๐

Yay!! Thanks for sharing!

Hello
This looks so yummy! Has anyone added the m&ms while the chocolate is still warm so it can get stuck to everything? I want to make this for a friends baby introduction party and want to make it with colorful m&ms and sprinkles due to it being Dr. Seuss theme. I was hoping to add the m&ms around the same time as the sprinkles. Will this work or is it best to add them when the chocolate is hard?
Cathy says
What kind of Chex cereal do you use?
Jennifer says
Sorry! Just saw this, it’s the Chex cereal, original
Tammy says
