- I can’t believe it’s already November! Is anyone with me on that? I feel like we just started school back and somehow I’m changing the calendar to November. Maybe because we’ve had about 4 days of fall-like weather here in Alabama and I’m feeling a little jilted. My boots are collecting dust, ya’ll!
- On Saturday, BK and I went to Christmas Village with Susannah, Mitch, Crew and Vicki, we had so much fun and I bought some cute things. I’m not going to lie, it put me in the Christmas spirit for sure! But you won’t see a tree up in our house until the day after Thanksgiving. As tempted as I might be we must have turkey before we can deck the halls. But I did et all of these fun things:
- Allen and I started the Insanity workout program on Sunday. Yes, I might actually be insane. My diet/workout plans are victims of my ADD just like everything else in my life. So for the next 60 days I’ll be following Insanity and allowing myself a few built in cheat-days on the holidays. I don’t think I was prepared for just how hard it would be but last night I was dying! I honestly didn’t have a clue I was this out of shape.
- Speaking of Christmas, I did let BK sit in Santa’s lap at Christmas Village. Remember last year? The screaming picture of her sitting in Santa’s lap? Well, this time she walked right over to him (there wasn’t a line yet) and proceeded to talk to him about whatever was on her mind. And he asked her what she wanted for Christmas and she proudly told him, “a baby.” Santa asked, “a baby doll?” To which BK replied, “No, jus’ a real one. 2 bruders and 1 sister.” Santa, you have your work cut out for you.
- I have a birthday coming up next week and I couldn’t be more excited. Is there a point when birthdays won’t be fun anymore, because I’m still giddy with excitement like it’s my 5th birthday or something. And I want a new camera. I just threw that out there because I know Allen reads this blog. Thanks, buddy!
- I wish I was writing this post for Friday because I would definitely change the title to Five for Friday and be done with this post.
- Have you voted today? I woke up earlier than usual to exercise my freedom to vote in the good ol’ United States. I can’t say I’ll be happy either way but regardless we still live in a country that I’m proud to call home.
- I finally finished another room in our house. Thank goodness there isn’t a deadline on these sorts of things because it is taking me way too long to get everything just like I want it. I keep telling myself that we’ll be here for a while but then I find myself stressing because I still have completely empty rooms upstairs. But I did decorate BK’s bathroom and I’ll share that soon.
- I’m mourning the loss of my black Reva’s that Coco used as her own personal chew toy. Seriously.
I loved BK’s Santa pic last year, it was the best screaming santa face ever! This one is so cute though! Oh and let me know about your old camera when you get that new one! 🙂 Happy Birthday!!
Girl, i did Insanity last summer when we went to Hawaii…..it was INSANE but it got me in the best shape of my life. Of course, we got home from vacay and I’ve only done it a few times since then. HEHE!! The results will be amazing…good luck!!!!!!

I LOVE that Braylen asked for a baby for Christmas! Reminds me of ‘Miracle on 34th Street’ – have you seen it? If not, watch it! It’s my favorite Christmas movie (I prefer the 90’s version though over the old black and white one!)

Happy early birthday! Thats so cute and sweet about BK asking for a baby. Im hoping for the same results for Morgan and Santa this year because she hated Santa last year. Im right there with you on a christmas tree. I love the holiday but have to have turkey before a tree.
