I feel like it was just Friday afternoon and here I am, getting things ready for the week ahead. This weekend seemed to fly by! Here’s a quick run down of our weekend.
We finalized Disney plans. I have been stressing over these plans for months (you aren’t surprised, right?). We’ll be going in June and I am so excited about showing Braylen (and Allen) the magic of Disney for the first time. It’s been nearly 10 years since I’ve been , a Disney trip is long overdue. I need your Disney tips. What are the must see or must do attractions at the parks (we’ll be visiting all four), what are the restaurants we can’t miss out on, and what tips and tricks do you have for taking on Disney with a toddler? Help!! Anyone?
I did a little online shopping late Saturday night and I ended up with this cute zigzag dress shop Ella Madison. I actually have more to tell you about this fabulous boutique as Blissdom approaches and during my trip. If you haven’t liked their Facebook page yet, I would definitely recommend doing so. They have a mint and black chevron maxi that I am waiting to come back in-stock. It needs to be in my spring/summer wardrobe.
Our neighbor, Brayden turned 4 on Sunday. We went to his birthday on Saturday and Braylen had tons of fun, as always. I can’t tell you how nice it is for Braylen to have a friend who is so close in age, walking distance away. They get along so well, and I’m thankful for wonderful neighbors.
On a serious note, we received some sad news this weekend when one of my aunts unexpectedly passed away. It comes on the heels of my uncle losing everything in a house fire this past week. BK and I went with my mom and nanny to spend some time with family on Sunday. Death is tough on everyone, and always reminds us that life is short and uncertain. It makes me hold those I do have close, a little tighter and trust that God is faithful and his plan is perfect, even when we don’t understand.
The common thread yesterday was, no matter how sad anyone was feeling, this ray of sunshine could easily put a smile on their face.

http://www.Disboards.com has tons of great Disney information. Try their Family board for tips on taking a toddler. We love Disney and go about every year to year and a half. Last summer we took our youngest for the first time, right after his first birthday. (we have two boys – 7 and almost 2).
If she loves princesses, do breakfast at Cinderella’s Castle. And breakfast at Chef Mickey’s is perfect for seeing the classic characters – Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto. I hope you have made your dining reservations! Otherwise it will be hard to get in at the most popular restaurants. People start making reservations 180 days in advance.
I’d plan on spending at least two full days at the Magic Kingdom. Then a day (maybe two) at Epcot, a day at Hollywood Studios and a day at Animal Kingdom. WIth her age, Magic Kingdom will be the most magical.
Feel free to email me if you have any other questions! I love Disney and helping someone plan their vacation is almost as much fun as going myself!

I’m so sorry for your loss. Death is a helpless situation. There is nothing you can do to “fix” things and that’s so hard. I’m sure your daughter was a blessing to be around!
