Guest Post: I Love You More Than Carrots

Hi there! I’m AP, C’s Mommy from over at I Love You More Than Carrots. When I’m not chasing my crazy hellion of a toddler around or trying to fuel one of my life’s many passions, I try and find a little time to write over there. Needless to say I am honored that Jennifer asked me to guest post while she’s vacationing at the beach! Jennifer, we are just green with envy and hope you’re enjoying your time away!
I don’t know what it is about the Fall, but it gives me a serious case of The Gimmies. It may have a little something to do with my Fall Birthday or the fact that I love anything pumpkin- be it pumpkin bread, pumpkin coffee, pumpkin candles, etc. And here in Maryland, Fall is right around the corner. As a SAHM to a handsome little man, I’ve found that it’s way more fun to dress him than me. I have a feeling this is because he’ll look just dapper in a paper sack whereas no matter what I put on, I somehow end up looking like, well, a paper sack. Regardless, I thought I’d share with you a few little ditties that have me drooling this season.
Go ahead and stone me, but I can’t possibly get through the Fall without my go-to uniform of black leggings and Uggs. This ensemble never failed me before kids or during my pregnancy and I can guarantee that it’ll be my absolute go-to when I’m traipsing through apple orchards and pumpkin patches in a few short weeks. With my birthday being.. well.. tomorrow, these are definitely a top my list. Mama needs. The Ugg Women’s Mountain Quilted in Stucco.

On the rare occasion that I make it out of my standard “Mom-tuxedo” of black pants and an oversized sweater, as my Husband likes to call it, I’ll definitely be donning a pair of these beauties. They are truly the perfect Mom-shoe. Tory’s Reva Ballet Flat in gold.

If you could somehow make the following three Anthro sweaters appear in my closet overnight, I would be forever grateful. Whether paired with my favorite dark wash skinny jean and a Frye boot or again with my infamous leggings, these sweaters are downright drool-worthy. Now, if I could just win the lottery, I’d be set!

What would a Fall Gimmie post be without the necessary denim item? I’m super excited to jump on the stovepipe jean bandwagon. Hopefully with a pair of these J Brand beauties. Just head on over to Pinterest, search for “stovepipe denim” and literally.. gorgeous. Just gorgeous.

Last but not least, I will admit I’ve been pining over a monogram necklace for the longest time. Especially, the one seen here: . Sure, I’ve taken to wearing a beautiful diamond pendant given to me by The Husband the day of C’s birth, but I think this would be a fairly suitable substitute every now and again, right?
