I’ve mentioned a few times that we’ve spent a good bit of time working on the basement lately. It is finally coming together! We have a few unfinished projects, but I wanted to show you some pictures of how its looking.
First, let me give you a little background. When we purchased this house the basement was unfinished. Concrete floors, cinder block walls, and no ceiling. It is completely underground and the size of the main floor of our house. We saw SO much potential in this basement… a gym? a craft room? a huge family room? extra bedrooms/living area? I mean the possibilities were endless, at least for me. For Allen? Not so much. From the beginning it was going to be his “man cave.” And so it is. 🙂
We added a projector, bar, tile, drop ceiling, painted the walls and divided the room into two sides: the Tide and the Tigers. Most of this was already finished. Lately, we have just organized the basement and added the ceiling and some things on the walls.

We’ll be at the beach this weekend, but you can bet that EVERY Saturday after that you can find us here! Allen’s so excited I think that he might camp out down here on Friday nights. Ha! I’m kidding, I think?
Guys, this is an awesome “Man Cave.” I don’t think Allen’s kidding about camping down there on Friday nights.

Roll Tide!! My hubs hasn’t started on his man cave yet (we just bought a house a month ago) but his will be upstairs. And I just have to ask: where did you get your bar stools?
This is every mans dream… My husband would be in heaven right about now. 😉
