It’s Wednesday, so that means it’s time to team up with Kristin for Wardrobe Wednesday. As always, you can link up below. We’d love it if you did! I’m switching gears a little this week and talking about clothes for the little ones in my house. Or rather, just one of the little ones.

So here’s the back story. Last October, I started trying out a capsule style wardrobe for Judson and Braylen. It worked fantastic for Judson. Of course, we added some things for holidays, but we wore those same staples over and over again. For Braylen, it wasn’t quite as easy. I’m not ready to revisit the girls capsule wardrobe just yet, but I did manage to complete Judson’s spring capsule this weekend.
On Sunday, we had a few kid-free hours, so I stopped by Gap, thinking I would be able to knock out the majority of the task, and found that I could actually put together a capsule in one stop. They were having a big sale on everything in the store, at 40% off, it was too good to pass up. We bought a good mixture of dress and play clothes and stayed within a color scheme that we could mix and match easily.
Listen Up Graphic Tee / Mighty Tough Graphic Tee / Dinosaur Graphic Tee / Fire Truck Graphic Tee / Number Tee / Solid Tees (Red and Blue)
Plaid Convertible Shirt / Checkered Shirt /Jersey Lined Wind Breaker
/ Camo Pull on shorts / Solid Pull On shorts (Red and Blue) / Chambray Shorts
Roll-Up Linen Pants (Khaki and Chambray)
In the interest of full disclosure, I’ll let you know that I spent around $250 to make it happen (look for their 40% off site or store wide sale). It will definitely take us through summer, too, hopefully I won’t need to buy anything else until fall. We did already have a few things, athletic shorts and shirts, shoes, a swimsuit and several pair of seersucker shorts and shortalls. Everything we already had was purchased after season last year, on major sale.
Also, how cute is this guy in his new clothes?

This is such a great idea!! I wish it were as easy to do for little girls, but I think Ella might have a heart attack if I limited her options to one colorway ;).

Love seeing little boy clothes featured. We just welcomed a little boy, after 2 girls, three weeks ago and I am in unchartered territory when it comes to everything boy!
