Wardrobe wednesday: swimsuits and coverups

This Wardrobe Wednesday I’m going to briefly talk about swimsuits and coverups. I haven’t purchased a swim suit for this year yet, and I’m not quite ready to go try them on, but I thought I would take a second to share a few I have my eye on right now.

I will mention my most favorite swimsuit of all time will still be in heavy rotation this summer. The  it is the most flattering of all time. I don’t know how it does it, but it creates the illusion I’m much slimmer than reality. I have it in mint, but if it were priced more like a Target swimsuit, I’d definitely purchase it in black, too.

This year, I do have my eye on some full coverage options for sun protection and for chasing Braylen and Judson around at the pool all summer. This top from Athleta is exactly what I have in mind.

Really though, I’m crushing on just about everything from Athleta this year. The colorblock and mix and match styles are a great option and aren’t too matchy so you could get several pieces and wear them different ways. Those striped bottoms (second from left) are in my cart right now.

 

But, really, swimsuits are fantastic, but it’s the coverup that I love shopping for so much more. And it’s the coverup I like wearing SO much more, am I right?

You’re really not going to believe what I found on Amazon, and these options are all prime and all under $20!

This is my absolute favorite!

This is a close second. I ordered them both with the intention of keeping my favorite, but I think they’ll both stay.
