Happy Wednesday, friends! We are on the final countdown for school to end and dreaming of beach trips and alarm clock free mornings (at least for the kids). Speaking of beach trips, today we’re talking about those because it’s time for another edition of Wardrobe Wednesday with and it’s all about swimsuits.
Do I technically need a new bathing suit? Probably not. But, it’s summer and we’ll be on the boat every weekend and we have a beach trip planned and the kids love the pool, so a new bathing suit would just make things better. Right? I think so at least.
So here’s the thing. Allen and I have a date night (I actually don’t love that term). What I mean is, we have a sitter for the evening so we can go accomplish in 1 hour what would take 3 with kids. And then we’ll probably get something to eat, and talk about things other than Mickey Mouse. Call it what you will, but Friday night it’s happening and I’m going to buy a new swimsuit.
I just love trying them on. Actually, I don’t love trying on swimsuits. I mean, I’d rather do that than order online. Ordering online never works out well for me. So, I guess I should say I just love trying them on, in person.
I have a great one piece and a great tankini, so I’m looking for something a little more fun this time around. Except no one pieces with cutouts, a Kardashian, I am not.
Here are a few I have my eye on, I’ll report back to you next week with the one I choose. I need you to tell me where I can shop for some great suits in store (not online). I’ll probably also Snap Chat the adventure, because I am loving Snap Chat and currently overusing it daily. You can find me under jenniferggreen.
First up, I’ve had my eye on this , I’m not usually a fan of this style, but I love that it ties around your neck. You can also wear it several other ways, but this would be my go-to.
Next, I definitely want to try on a high neck top, like this one.
And I know I said I might not want another one-piece of tankini, but this one is pretty much perfect!
I’ll report back next week. Any places I should go?

Three things… 1: That seafolly bandeau is amazing. I also blogged about it today and you need it in your life! 2: High neck suits are my jam this year. They are super cute and flattering and we don’t look like old ladies. Score! 3: Please tell me if I look like a Kardashian in my cut-out one piece, okay? I can’t live like that.

oh my, that last one is so pretty! I am going to have to get me one – hopefully, they will be done with our community pool soon, it is currently getting a facelift – blessings, and great blog

I love the crocheted one piece you’ve shown before. Of these, I like the high neck one. I feel like you wouldn’t have to worry about coming out of your suit if you’re jumping off rocks/piers, tubing, etc. (It’s happened to me, not fun, not fun at all.) But my favorite is still that crocheted one piece. If they had it in maternity, I’d be wearing one this summer.
