blanket scarf, three ways

I’m continuing with that idea to take one piece of clothing and style it three different ways for Wardrobe Wednesday today! Kristin has a with gifts under $25 on her blog today! And I’ll probably be back later today with a gift guide for the little girls in your life!

First, let’s talk about the scarf. Blanket scarves are everywhere now  I think this one hung in my closet for two years before I ever decided to wear it. Here are a couple of great options, if you don’t already have on hanging in your closet:

Let’s get started. For the first look, I paired the scarf with this cold shoulder Free People sweater. That sweater was in heavy rotation last fall and winter. This sweater isn’t availble anymore, but I think any chunky knit sweater would work perfect! Here’s a great option from H&M. I paired it with skinny jeans and black boots. Target has been my go-to for boots this season! This black option would work great with this outfit!

Next, I paired it with a basic white tee. I’ve talked about these shirts before and they are still my favorite! Even though it hasn’t rained in months here, when it does rain, I think these Hunter boots pair great with it and skinny jeans, of course! Nordstrom has pink Hunters on sale right now.

For the third look I went with something much more casual. Just a basic black sweater, leggings and Converse! I can’t find that sweater anywhere, but I’d check Gap Body and local boutiques for something similar. Also, the slip-on converse that I linked above will change everything. They are so much more comfortable than the originals.

I fear I’ll forever feel like I’m being just a tiny bit suffocated every time I wear a blanket scarf, but oh well, we’ll just go with it since it looks so cute!
