Can we talk about how excited we are about the new live action Beauty and the Beast in theaters soon? Belle is one of our favorite heroines in any Disney movie. That comes as no surprise to anyone who knows BK and myself. Like Belle, we’re self-professed book nerds and voracious readers. We fly through books at a rapid pace and spend evenings laying in the bed reading fun new stories. A good book is one of my favorite things to share with her. Belle also has an amazing sense of adventure and wonder and her big imagination makes her a sure pick for one of our favorite characters. I love that she has so many amazing qualities that young girls can look up to, it’s so empowering to see a heroine with smarts and a kind heart and admirable character traits. I love that Belle has this amazing way of doing what she wants, rather than the constraints society places on her.
From the previews we’ve seen so far, it looks like the costumes and grandeur of this live action will be amazing. We’ve been watching previews and talking about the movie in our house. We also have some great , and they’re already a hit. You can pick some up at your local store or online, they’re exclusive to Toys”R”Us stores and they have plenty of fun options in store.
They actually have a whole collection of toys based on the new Beauty and The Beast live action film. Even better? On March 25 from 12-2 PM, you can stop by your local Toys”R”Us and build a Beauty and The Beast Lego item plus other themed fun in celebration of the movie release. We’ll definitely be stopping by to join in on the fun in store!
We had so much fun acting out some of our favorite parts with these new Beauty and The Beast figures. She especially loved Belle’s fancy yellow dress and necklace. She loves using her imagination to reenact the story with her own creative liberties.
