beach pictures: 2017

We’ve made it a little bit of a tradition to have beach pictures taken each year. I always love them so much, tanned skin and tight curls from salty air, it’s a must at this point. We started in 2013 and I had to pull one of those photos because I can’t believe how much we’ve changed and grown since that beach trip!

This year, we were lucky enough to be at the same beach, at the same as Kamin from .

Y’all, after she sent me these pictures, I’m pretty sure I’ll be trying to plan our beach trip at the same time for every summer that follows.

I mean, I can’t even with those smiles.

She captured my favorite duo so perfect, they’re smiling and laughing and every bit of their personality comes through.

Can we just talk about how much these two love each other at this stage. Sure, we have our share of sibling fights, but they play so well together and we’re just soaking up this stage while they’re the best of friends the majority of the time.

Y’all, I wish I could tell you that my kids were quiet and composed and took these photos perfect, just like Kamin captured. Not quite. Jud pretended to be throwing dinosaurs at her the whole time. I’m incredibly impressed that these gems came from my rambunctious kiddo’s that day. And it was hot and humid and windy and a tropical storm literally rolled in hours after this session.

We loved taking a break from our usual beach scene and having these snapped at the boardwalk. It made for a beautiful location.
