Let's talk about one of my favorite things since revamping how we deal with our clothes. We revamped the closet and made it useful, and then I showed you how in my more shallow drawers, I'm able to roll the shirts, allowing me to see each piece of clothing. However, a few of our drawers are pretty deep and the only real way I've ever been able to fit everything in those drawers is to fold and stack. After reading the book and implementing the KonMari method, I decided that it would be okay to have a drawer or two full that I stacked the clothes in, but it didn't take long for those to get right back in a messy state, or for me to rely on the same tops over and over. surviving to thriving: Jud’s space + capsule wardrobe
The kids rooms were some of the easiest. We don't store a ton in their rooms, and the toys all live in the playroom, so the majority of the clutter in their rooms came from clothing and shoes. Jud's room still has a changing table, and he still requires a few necessities to be within reach. We use the changing table drawer organizers (DIY link) and it allows every thing to stay in one place. This is honestly one of the few areas that we had done correctly. a glimpse of days 22-29: sharing our everyday
I'm a little embarrassed to admit just how behind I am on this series, but there it is at the top, in plain sight. So I'm going to give you a quick rundown of the last, oh 8 days... Braylen is 100% all girl and full of sass. I come home to her dressed up many evenings during the week, but I couldn't stop laughing at this. How precious. She certainly makes my days brighter. That same night, Allen worked late so we made a candy corn pizza to celebrate the season. I don't think I have a single picture from Wednesday.
