Who doesn't love a three-day-weekend? Especially one that coincides with America's birthday! We headed to the lake on Friday morning, trying to beat the crowds a bit. It worked and we spent most of the day skiing and hanging out on the water. We headed back to the lake house before the rain came and made it just in time before the storms started to roll in for the rest of the evening. We spent the next morning at the lake, but not on the boat, it was way too crowded for the Fourth. We headed home around lunch to get ready for the rest of our day. 4th of July fun
I meant to blog about our holiday weekend yesterday, but things get a little crazy around here during the day. I'll be the first to admit, I'm still figuring out this whole two kids thing. I'll also be the first to admit I was ecstatic about a three-day weekend. I started out my Fourth with a trip to Pure Barre, then we all headed to my grandparents to do a little grilling a lot of swimming. I'm now officially obsessed with coordinating Braylen and Judson in matching outfits. I'm not sure how happy that makes my husband, but he's a good sport. celebrate the occasion: 4th of July edition
One of my resolutions or goals for the year is always to send more snail mail. Is there anything better than opening the mail box to a sweet note from a friend or having a sweet package arrive at your doorstep? I know it's half-way through the year, but stay with me here, I'm making good on that resolution and starting a new series on the blog. Each month, I'm going to choose a holiday or an occasion and put together a box full of goodies to send to friends, a celebrate the occasion box.
