BOY!! That's right, come April we'll be adding a lot more blue to this house. We had our anatomy and gender scan yesterday and we were all thrilled (and maybe a little surprised) to hear the words, it's a boy. We are also extremely thankful that everything looks great as far as baby #2 is concerned. He's measuring right on track, has a strong and steady heartbeat, and moved around the entire time we were watching. Braylen was most surprised, she told the ultrasound technician that she "doesn't like boy babies," and she really wanted a baby sister. How Far Along: 18 weeks Size of baby: Baby #2 is the size of a sweet potato Total Weight Gain/Loss: I'm not even going there. I'm probably going to be in some trouble at my doctors appointment this week. Maternity Clothes: Well. I had a very unsuccessful trip to Gap over the weekend. I was just about in tears over the fact that I couldn't find any jeans to wear that I liked or that actually fit me correctly. I'm pregnant, so I cry over pretty much anything, so don't hold that against me. I finally ended up finding some from Destination Maternity. How Far Along: 16 weeks Size of baby: Baby #2 is the size of an avocado Total Weight Gain/Loss: Still around 5 pounds. I'm also still at that stage where I just feel huge, rather than feeling pregnant. Maternity Clothes: Still relying on the tops I ordered from Riff Raff and that fabulous Bella Band. I think I'll actually go maternity pants shopping after our next appointment in December, and then live in the until after the baby is born. I know from the experience, that's how it works.
