I'll try to make this more like a blog post, rather than a novel. I had planned to post this Friday, while things were fresh on my mind, but newborn snuggles are way more appealing than blog posts. So, let's just take it back to Friday morning, which was a fairly normal morning around here. We didn't have to be at the hospital until 10:30, my mom picked BK up right before we left. They had lunch before heading to the hospital while we were getting checked-in. today is your birthday!
dear baby boy, I can't believe we're here, the night before we welcome you into our life, our hearts. Just 12 hours short from you becoming a the newest addition to our family, changing us from a family of three to a family of four. I feel like I get things a little more this time around. I know that my heart will be forever changed when I look into your eyes. I don't know how my heart can have room for any more love at this point, but I know from experience that it will grow tremendously when you are placed in my arms tomorrow. a big 39 week update
Yesterday, we went to the doctor for my final appointment. Everything is fine, there has been no progress. None. At all. I thought I'd put together a fun recap and share a little of what I've been up to lately. I've been in this crazy nesting mode, and I sort of feel bad for Allen. He's done some pretty crazy things, that have absolutely nothing to do with having a baby to satisfy a honey-do list. Thank goodness he loves me so much, I feel like there are few that would put up with my extreme nesting.
