I had a beautiful baby shower this past Saturday to celebrate our sweet baby boy. The countdown is on around here, and we're less than three weeks away from his scheduled arrival date. It seems like a million years in some ways, but I know I'll blink and be getting my things ready to check into the hospital. I love how fun and intimate this shower was, it was at my house and I invited my closest friends and family. It was nice to be able to sit and talk, to catch up and laugh with everyone who came. How Far Along: 36 weeks Size of baby: Baby #2 is the size of a crenshaw melon. Total Weight Gain/Loss: I didn't look at the scale at my last appointment, but I'm certain I'm near the 35 pound mark. Maternity Clothes: All maternity in the picture above. Shirt, pants, and cardigan from Destination Maternity. I really want to be wearing yoga pants, all of the time. I completely skipped over 34 weeks, I couldn't coordinate with my photographer (ahem, Allen) to get a photo. I was in pajamas by the time he came home, and I don't think oversized mens tee shirts and worn out yoga pants are that great of a look on me, so I'll spare you. How Far Along: 35 weeks Size of baby: Baby #2 is the size of a honeydew! That's a little over 5 pounds of baby. Whoa! Total Weight Gain/Loss: I'm still around 30-32 pounds to the good.
