I'll be honest with you, I feel like this pregnancy is creeping along. It's a bit annoying because I know once he arrives the time will pass with incredible speed. I'm not sure how or why it works that way, but it does, I've been there and I know how quickly everything changes. From newborn to infancy to toddlerhood. I feel like I merely blinked my eyes and life moved forward at an alarming rate. But, time passing slowly isn't a bad thing. Not at all. How Far Along: 25 weeks Size of baby: Baby #2 is the size of a rutabaga Total Weight Gain/Loss: +18 per my last appointment, I realize the photo above makes it more like 50, I promise to never wear that shirt again while pregnant. I'll also try and take my pictures before 10:00 at night from now on. Maternity Clothes: Forget maternity clothes, I want yoga pants, leggings, and sweatshirts for the next 14 weeks. It's easy to forget just how hard it is to dress a baby bump. I'm also flat out refusing to purchase a ton of maternity clothes. Since we found that our second child will be a boy, I've had a rather strange thing happen. I've landed myself in the one of each club. It's a funny place to be, apparently I've fallen out of the girl mom club, and let's be real, I was never in the boy mom club. Most comments make it seem obvious that having one of each is the thing to do, that I've somehow managed to take gold in the gender Olympics. I'm going to say something that might shock a few, I didn't get pregnant with specific gender intentions.
