I should tell you that I'm fully back in the reading camp. Reading will always be my favorite and I make no apologies for that fact. Did I ever tell you I basically read our entire library in elementary school? Every grade had a color-coded section and each year I read every single book for my color. Ask Allen, he made fun of my trophies. This months reads: by Rainbow Rowell- I read this book on vacation, and I really enjoyed everything about the book. Is that a funny title? Since I read all of these books electronically, so none of the books ever graced my bookshelf. Either way, I'm trying to read more these days, so I thought recapping my recent reads on the blog would be fun. Here's a look at what I've read recently: The Girl on the Train /Where'd You Go, Bernadette / The Girl On The Train, Paula Hawkins I kept hearing buzz about this book and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it and take some time to read it for myself. 2012 reading list update & a new list for the new year
One of my resolutions last year was to read more books. It may very well be the only resolution I managed to stick to, and I'm okay with that. My goal was to read 12 books, not a very lofty goal, but one I thought would be attainable. Some books I read over weeks and weeks and some I read in a single setting on a weekend trip to the beach. Last year, I complained of not having enough time to read. I tried to manage my time better and that meant cutting out some mindless reality television and a few other shows.
