It's Monday and would you believe we only have three Monday's left in this school year? I need to catch-up in a major way, so you get my random thoughts on this Monday morning: I'm back on the home decorating train. Literally, full speed ahead. What does this really mean? I've handed off a list of projects to Allen. The list is quite impressive and includes things like board and batten, ladder shelves, and an extended deck with build in seating. I'm giving him a few more weeks to put the finishing touches on the play set and then we're pressing on. sort of a weekend recap, sort of a brain dump
I feel like I need to promise you that I'm going to give you something other than bullet points of random thoughts. Let's just get that out the way, I am, I promise. My to-do list for the past month (and up until the 14th of April) is not messing around. I checked a Leadership Day at school off on Friday, but that leaves me with an iPad training session, a trip to Dallas for Blissdom, a technology showcase, BK's 3rd birthday party and a baby shower. another brain dump? already?
This is probably more like a catch-up, a parade of recent events and happenings. Weekends have been low key lately and I have enjoyed every single minute at home. I can't believe I used to think we had to be on the go all of the time, there is real joy in a Saturday spent lounging around in pajamas. Allen has a little shadow these days, no matter where he goes she is sure to follow. Haven't you heard? Building things and washing cars is much more fun than anything that I do.
