I know you've probably seen tassle garland all over Pinterest lately. Actually, I've been seeing it for awhile, but I was never quite brave enough to take the plunge. But, my mom and I love a good project, and we thought this might be a fun one to spend some time in the craft room learning how to make. And spend some time we certainly did! DIY creaseless hair ties
I'm a bit obsessed with those cute creaseless hair ties that you see everywhere. I usually keep one on my wrist so that I can throw my hair into a ponytail at any given time. They make a nice addition to my afternoon workouts, too. I can take my hair down afterwards without the worry of annoying creases that come with ponytails. Plus, how cute are they? The problem is, they can be costly. I've seen them at local boutiques for as much as $2.50. Which is crazy, it's a hair tie and every girl knows, you need more than one hair tie. DIY Cupcake Stand
As promised, I'm here to deliver the cupcake stand tutorial. My husband may be a bit of a perfectionist, not when it comes to picking up his dirty cltohes, but building something? Yes. This is unlike what I would do in so many ways. First, he doesn't use any hot glue. Second, he uses a saw and other power tools. Basically, it's legit. (Don't worry, you can purchase pre-cut circles and wood glue.) It's also rather large. You may find that the dimensions are too big for your liking, in that case just start with a smaller base circle.
