On Saturday, I helped host a baby shower at church for Kasey. The theme was "Cute As A Button" and it was SO fun to plan. Kasey is due at the end of June with a baby boy, Connor Allen. She made these cute "Thank-You's" to give as favors... And we attached a button shaped cookie to the back... She wanted a fun shower with games! We played several including a "Guess The Price Game," "How well do you know Kasey?," and she, her mother and mother-in-law had to dress a baby, blindfolded. Candy Land Birthday Party: Fun, Friends & Gifts!
Next up from the Candy Land birthday party are the games. I knew that since we were inviting several children it would be nice to have something for them to do. In keeping with the Candy Land theme we set up a few things to do around the yard. First up was this bounce house or "Gumdrop Mountain" Next stop, "Lollipop Woods." More of those lollipops and hula hoops to ring them... And "Gumball Lake" I might add that we played in "Gumball Lake" most of the day today. She loves it! Candy Land Birthday Party: Details, Details, Details!!
When I saw just how many wonderful pictures we had of the party, I knew we would need to split it up into several posts. I hope you all like candy land birthday parties (for the next week, at least). Let's start from the beginning, we had the party in our backyard. The sidewalk to the backyard was lined with lollipops... Bright polka dot balloons, a gum drop wreath and this cute sign welcomed party guests to "Braylen's Candy Land" I tried to utilize all of the space wisely and that meant turning the hot tub into a table.
