Our third day, Tuesday, started out with a very special reservation at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. A friend of BK’s told her about BBB while we were planning the trip and that is all she would talk about. She asked everyone for gift cards for her birthday and ended up with plenty to spend at Disney. One of the things she used her gift cards for was Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. If you aren’t familiar, it’s a place for little girls to get transformed into princesses and they pull out all the stops (I think boys can go to be turned into knights, too). She definitely had the royal treatment and was on cloud nine throughout the morning.
She was nervous (and she is never nervous) when they asked her to sign the autograph book and she had a little skip in her step as she walked out the door.
We took the bus from Downtown Disney to Magic Kingdom and BK was practicing her pixie dust sprinkling on Allen all the way to MK.
Of course, we grabbed a quick picture in from of the castle. Jud is doing what he does best, trying to steal the bow or crown from BK’s hair.
We rode a few rides in Fantasy Land, including the Tea Cups. It’s pretty fun riding the Tea Cups with a princess, I must say. Dressing like a princess at Disney World will certainly get you noticed. And if you’re really lucky, your sweet daddy might arrange for a few people to ask for your autograph.
Then it was off to Space Mountain, the Astro Orbiter, and a quick stop by the Hall of Princesses to meet a few favorites (and of course, Ariel’s Grotto, too!). Elsa and Anna were fantastic, incredibly engaging.
We took the Monorail over to the Polynesian for dinner at O’hanna’s. This was our first time trying out O’hanna’s and it won’t be our last. Dinner was delicious and the luau theme was a hit. I would take some of that bread pudding with caramel sauce every night for dessert. Jud was a fan, too. He’s always a fan of eating.
We caught the monorail back to Magic Kingdom to ride a few more rides before the Electrical Parade and Fireworks (we use a Fast Pass so we wouldn’t have to waste a ton of time camping out for a good spot). Can you tell we went to a luau for dinner?
We had fun watching the parade and fireworks, those are typically my two favorites.
However, Judson fell asleep and BK was ready to go once the fireworks ended, so we took advantage of the Magic Hours. We walked up to Ariel in her Grotto, rode everything in Fantasy Land without a line. BK was able to pick which seat she wanted on the Barnstormer each time (she always chose the front). While riding the Barnstormer, she said mom this is the best night ever. And then the trip was worth every single minute of missed sleep and every single line we waited in or midnight reservation I had to stay up to make, The magic of Disney was in full swing this day and it will be a day we remember forever. Truly, magical.

I loooove it! The magic of Disney. I love seeing it. I get such a kick out of seeing complete strangers experiencing the pure joy of Disney for the first time. And even more so with Aria. Totally worth the heat and lines and reservation nail biting haha. I super duper love that your husband arranged for a few autographs to be requested, now that is above and beyond amazing!
