This post is coming to you from the comforts of my own bed, I had to pull the iPad out and charge it before could start writing. I could have used my laptop, but I’m pretty sure I left it at school today. And I really want to watch Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal, so here I am multi-tasking away on this Thursday night.
Thursday has become my favorite day of the week for the simple fact that Thursday always means Friday is coming. And Friday is good. Really good. And the weekend? Well, that’s even better.
When I came home this afternoon I quickly prepped dinner. Thursday night is dance night for BK, and dinner at home is completely doable, but requires a little planning. It also requires a little help from Allen. He was in charge of getting everything started while our tiny ballerina was perfecting her dance moves.
BK loves dance class and I am so happy we made the decision to let her start taking classes this year. She is making new friends and she looks forward to her class each week. When we get home she wants to show off her dance moves. This wasn’t an actual dance move, just an excited to take a picture move. By the way, I pulled out the real camera for these shots tonight. I’m always telling myself I should do that more.
I finished up dinner when we came back home from dance. It was herb roasted pork tenderloin, wild rice, and green beans straight from the garden. So good that I’m taking leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Braylen didn’t agree, she proclaimed that she doesn’t eat black chicken. Of course, I agree, I’m not a fan of black chicken either. But, that wasn’t the point, wrong meat entirely.
Allen went out to shut the garage door and came back with this little gem. A brand new Stitch Fix box. I had real intentions of trying it on and showing off my new threads, but Scandal was calling and now I’m in bed and that won’t be happening. I will tell you that I quickly took a peek inside the box and I think I just might be keeping it all. I’ll try it on at some point this weekend and let you know the verdict on this box.
I’m going to try to make it by Pure Barre tomorrow afternoon. We have a busy evening and a birthday dinner, but hopefully I’ll manage.

Loving Scandal! Planning to arrange my Thursdays so that I can be sure to see it every week – even it it’s the only show I get to end up watching all week, it would be worth it! Can’t wait to see your Stitch Fix items – the colors and textures in the picture you shared look promising!!!!

I agree! Scnadal is must-see!

I love the pic of your little ballerina! We have Gracie enrolled in dance, but it’s kind of a battle to make her go/obey the teachers. She’s not out of control, but she just stands there on the verge of tears. But she’s 2 1/2, I think I may pull her out and wait another year.
I haven’t tried stitch fix yet, I will have to look into that. I tried birch box and wasn’t really impressed!

Aww! I don’t know how she would have done last year, but I know she’s much more mature this year. Hope it gets better!

I’m loving hearing about your every days! It must be the nosy person in me, or I just love seeing how other people “do” there evenings / days. Stitch Fix looks like it’s so much fun! Do they do maternity?

I saw in your sneak peek picture of your new box a gray and navy striped cardigan. I got the same one in my box and love it. Cant wait to see all your fun new stuff and thanks for the great reading. Congratulations on your news!!
