We started our second day at Hollywood Studios with one of our favorite breakfast spots, Hollywood and Vine! It’s not particularly one of my favorites, but it has rotating Disney junior characters, so you’ll see 4 when you have breakfast. This day we hit the jackpot. We saw Jake, Sophia, Doc McStuffins (huge score), and Handy Manny. All favorites of BK, and Judson wasn’t near as scared during this character dining. You’ll see that he warmed up to them more and more as the week progressed.
BK and I did get to wear matching shirts and she was pretty smitten with the idea. Also, you should know she requested shirts with words and people. Graphic tees, friends. Character graphic tees. A little piece of my smocked and monogrammed loving heart might have broken, but we pressed on and tried to find some cute options for the week. The Best Day Ever shirts from Happily Ever Tee’s on Etsy was my favorite, but the Gap Junk Food graphic tees came in a close second.
And if you’re wondering what Disney with a one year old was looking like after nap time on Day 2? Plenty of bananas and milk and love from mama and he was happy just to be hanging out on in the shade.
My highlight of the day was the Frozen sing along. Sweet BK sat in my lap and sang her heart out, like no one else was in the room. She had everyone around watching and talking about her on the way out. She knew every single word and let everyone know. Honestly, it was a great show, and everyone in our group loved the Arrendale historians who added tons of humor and made it bearable for everyone.
We utilized the Photo Pass towards the end of the day and snagged this photo. Judson is mostly concerned with my hair. We hit a few more high spots, like the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Toy Story Mania, Rockin’ Rollercoaster, Extreme Stunt Spectacular, and Indiana Jones. I always feel like each park needs multiple days!
Another favorite at Hollywood Studios was getting up close and personal with Cinderella’s carriage and glass slipper from the movie. Allen waited in line with BK and we ended up with the best photos on our Photo Pass. Seriously, the sweetest, right?
We also rode Tower of Terror, even BK. I was a little skeptical, but she was sure she wanted to and she ended up loving the ride. Even begging Allen to use the rider switch pass to take her back again. Of course, he did. We also saw the Fantasmic show for the first time that evening.

I’m very impressed with her ride skillz and bravery!! I look foward to Aria being taller so she is able to ride on the bigger rides, but I’m not sure she’ll want to yet. But maybe – last trip she was pretty into watching the log fall down over and over at splash mnt. Tower or Terror is pretty intense too!
Jennifer says
It is! My mom wanted no part of it and we definitely let her know it was intense. She was all about it!! She loved Splash Mountain, too. I sat that one out to avoid walking around wet all day long ๐
