Friday was our last full day at Disney and our last park day. I really wanted it to be magical from start to finish, so BK woke up to a dress from Cinderella herself and an invitation to dinner at the castle.
I planned for us to be at Magic Kingdom on our last day at Disney. There isn’t anything in all of Disney World quite like Magic Kingdom, and I knew that’s how we would end our trip. It was our third day at Magic Kingdom, so we already had a good idea about what we wanted to see and do at the park.
We made reservations for Be Our Guest breakfast before the park opened. You absolutely want to do this, too! Seeing the park before it officially opens is amazing. You don’t really realize what it looks like without a large crowd of people streaming through Main Street and into the castle.
We ate a delicious breakfast at Be Our Guest, it was an excellent choice for a quick service meal and we all loved getting to try something new.
After breakfast, Jud was ready for a nap! We asked BK where she wanted to go and she chose the 7 Dwarfs Mine Train. We rode it twice before meeting up with everyone else and heading over to Frontier Land. We rode a few rides in Frontier Land, and Jud and I found a Starbucks (again) while everyone else was riding the riverboat.
Allen’s parents decided to head back home and his brother’s family went back to the room before lunch, so BK was able to lead the way for the rest of the day.
We waited in line to meet Tiana, one of the last princesses we needed to check off our list, and she did not disappoint. Probably my favorite of the whole trip, she was incredibly personable and just played the part so well.
BK led us back to Fantasy Land (surprise, surprise) where we rode the teacups, grabbed a quick lunch, played at Dumbo’s playground, picked out souvenirs under the big top, and took a few photos in front of the castle.
Cinderella’s dress was the perfect outfit to wear to dinner at the castle.
I can’t keep track of how many things I’ve said were my favorites from this trip, but I’m a hundred percent sure that this dinner was the best dinner we had while at Disney World. It didn’t feel near as rushed and I ate some of the best food of our trip.
And, of course, the princesses. All of the princesses.
We actually had an early reservation for dinner, we were finished eating in time to catch a parade in front of the castle. We also had a Fast Pass planned to see Anna and Elsa. We were at the end of the line in the group as we went in to meet the princesses, which put us in the room with them by ourselves when our time came.
Truly, it was fantastic. Elsa and Anna talked with BK and played with Jud, the photographers snapped plenty of photos, it was the definition of ending things on a high note.
This was our hottest day at the park, so we gave BK the option of skipping the fireworks and going back to the splash pad. She was really torn between the two choices, and while deciding she spotted the carousel and said, well, I have always wanted to ride the carousel wearing a princess dress.
She requested one more ride on the Barnstormer and then we headed back to the resort to play at the splash pad.
And these two? Closed down the splash pad. We finally convinced BK to call it a night and have some pizza around 10:00 that evening.
It was truly the perfect way to end our trip.

I have heard great things about Tiana! And she’s always wanted to ride the carrousel with a princess dress on? I melt! That is just the sweetest thing haha. Magic Kingdom is a great start and end to any Disney trip!

Tiana is absolutely, hands down, our favorite character interaction. My kids (boys included!) love the princesses, but Tiana is spot on making them feel cozy and welcome! And they love that she call them chicken nuggets!
I was reading your recaps and told my husband I’m ready to book another trip! We’re yearly Disney fan-atics, and reading your posts has brought back so many fun memories!

What a great last day! Glad you were able to get a BOG breakfast reservation. We really don’t eat much breakfast but I really wanted to get in the park before it opens and see what breakfast was like there.

What resort did you stay at? Looks adorable with the Nemo splash pad!
