I promise to get to some really good things like the dining plan and my favorite tips for taking littles to Disney World, my thoughts on the resorts, but I thought I would recap them for memories sake before getting into those specifics. It’s likely I’ll be blogging about Disney for the next month, you know my track record for blogging on the regular isn’t impeccable.
We arrived Saturday afternoon and spent a little time playing on the playground and unwinding from the road trip. I had planned a late dinner at 1900 Park Fare, it’s a character dining with Cinderella, Prince Charming and her stepmother and the stepsisters.
She was smitten with Prince Charming and promptly let her daddy know that he was dreamy. He then reminded her that she is never, ever allowed to date, to which she gave her standard reply: Eww, I would never get a boyfriend, dad!
I had Fast Passes for the Electrical Light Parade and the Wishes Fireworks show, but the kids were asleep before we ever stepped off the monorail and we went straight home. I love planning our days at Disney, but no plan ever trumps tired babies. They always win.
The next day we slept in just a little before heading to Epcot around lunch. It was fantastic! The weather was nice and the crowds were few. My mom went with us, she’s a trooper and forever invited on our family vacations. The kids are super attached, and each one is certain they should get all of the attention, so this picture below is pretty much the norm.
We had Fast Passes to meet Mickey and friends, but I changed them when I saw the line was only 5 minutes. Don’t let this fool you, about two seconds after he was done.
Braylen loves all the characters, doesn’t matter who they are she wants to meet them.
Afterwards, we rode a few rides, including Test Track and the lighter experience of Mission to Mars. BK loved them both, she was serious about riding any ride that she met the height requirement for and was thrilled when her head hit above the bar.
Judson napped for awhile while we took turns riding rides with BK.
After we rode everything in Epcot, we started our way around the world showcase. BK tried on and fell in love with a pink komono in Japan, danced along with some live performances, and we all enjoyed some delicious treats.
Jud joined the party in the world showcase and made a few Kidcot stops. I wish I had a picture, but Jud fell in love with a sweet man from Africa who was carving animals. He talked to him and smiled and played with him, more than I’ve ever seen him interact with anyone he didn’t know. It was the sweetest time!
BK changed into her princess dress and we all ate to our hearts content at Akershus in Norway. We tried to peek in on the Frozen progress being made. It’s going to be HUGE, y’all!
This is my favorite picture of the night, BK telling Aurora that she is her favorite. She paraded around the restaurant with the princesses and had the best time. Aurora kissed her right on the forehead and BK was smitten with the lipstick marks all night.
