How about a beach recap while we're on a blogging roll around here? I'm still trying to catch-up, don't worry, I won't go back too far. I'm thinking a this beach recap plus one big summer recap and we'll call it a day. Then it's back to our regularly scheduled blogging.... or so I hope. I'm taking the day off from blog-tember, you can hop over and read about memorable birthdays, but I thought it would be a great chance for me to blog about our beach trip. I think I'm only missing a few posts, so here's a little look at the beach trip to get us one step closer to being caught up on the blog. I used to divide posts like this up into several days, but we're just barely keeping our head above water, so I'll save that for next vacation. We've consistently traveled to the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area in years past. We decided to travel a little further south last year, and hit the beach of Panama City (where I frequented as a child), but we weren't quite sold on PC. This year, we decided to try out Sandestin. I'm not really interest in venturing further south than the gorgeous beaches of the Gulf Coast, the 4 hour drive is perfect and the beaches are full of white sand.
