We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We started out the day by watching the parade and cooking a few things. Braylen loved the big balloons and the music, she was so mesmerized by the parade.
I get the fun task of making duplicates of everything. Double the green bean casserole, double the Symphony brownies and double the mac and cheese. |
Each Thanksgiving we visit Allen’s grandparents and have lunch with his family around noon. Then we head to my parents house and eat again around 2:00. Both sides of my family come to my parents house for Thanksgiving. I can’t tell you how much better this makes things for us. The first year we were married we went to FOUR different places for Thanksgiving. Combining Thanksgiving at my parents house helps us to enjoy the holiday and not feel as rushed.

And with her mawmaw and papaw (Allen’s parents). |
As expected Braylen loved seeing everyone. Our attention-loving girl was on cloud nine since everyone wanted to play with her.
We even got the chance to take a family picture.
