I’m not a New Year’s resolution maker, per se. I actually shy away from commitments like that. I don’t think there is anything wrong with making or not making resolutions I’ve just never had the desire to really commit to something or the lack of something for an entire year. As I was thinking about resolutions this year and why I don’t make specific resolutions each year I eventually decided it was because deep-down I thought I might not be able to keep them all year. Basically, letting the fear of failing keep me from trying.
Ridiculous, Jenn, ridiculous.
So, I thought, I can do this whole resolution thing and late last night in the comfort in the hotel bed in downtown Atlanta I made a list. Yes, a list. You know, because I’m a list maker and all. In one single moment of empowerment high on a win from the Tigers and the sound of fireworks and all things “New Year” I quickly scribbled a list on hotel stationary and looks like this:
- Read the Bible every day.
- Exercise more.
- Drink more water.
- Eat out no more than 1 time per week.
- Start and complete Project 365.
- Stick to our weekly budget.
- Give up “sweets” for one year.
- Give up diet Coke.
- Read more books.

Good luck!!!! I bet you can do it. And even if you don’t accomplish every single one of these, you should be wicked proud for the attempts/things you did do. That’s a hefty, healthy list right there! I need to post mine
