I’m a huge fan of meal planning for the week. In fact, it’s the only way we avoid going out to eat during the week. And when we first got married? I would randomly make trips to the grocery store when I got the itch to cook something. I didn’t consider time or nutrition, just whatever I thought sounded good that day.
And then I was introduced to the wonderful world of meal planning and spread sheets where you map out your whole week and list each ingredients to ensure that nothing is forgotten. This became our normal, it worked great and I thought that was as easy as it gets.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago when Emeals contacted me about a review and a giveaway. I was a little skeptical because if you don’t know, I am the pickiest person on the planet. But I was pleasantly surprised at what I found. And even better? It’s Dave Ramsey approved and so all of the plans are budget friendly.
- Portion Control
- Low-Carb
- Natural/Organic
- Couples-Only
- Low Fat
- G-Free
- Publix
- Walmart
- And just about every other store you can think of
And it also comes with a grocery list and breaks down exactly what you need and what the cost will be. Seriously, they’ve thought of everything!
I made this Lemon Chicken last week and it was a quick and easy hit!
Crock-Pot Lemon Chicken from eMeals
Cut chicken into chunks and place into crock pot. Combine lemon juice & zest, broth, onion, olive oil, vinegar, oregano, salt, pepper, & paprika; pour over chicken & mix well. Cover & cook 5 6 hours on low until done. Combine cornstarch & sour cream; add to crock pot & combine into chicken. Cover & cook on high for 20 30 minutes more or until sauce is thickened.
One of the great things about eMeals how affordable it is, you can get a 3-month subscription for only $15 and right now you can use the code BLISSDOM and get another 15% off that price.
eMeals is offering one of my lucky readers a 3-month subscription for free and I have several ways for you to enter you can leave a comment for each thing you do).
Good Luck!! I was given a 3 month subscription to eMeals in exchange for a review and giveaway on Life In The Green House. All opinions expressed in this blog post are solely mine. |

Oh wow, just having someone write my grocery list is worth the $15!
I follow you and I’d probably choose natural/organic since now Georgia is eating table food and we’re going to try to go that route with our shopping.

New follower of your blog! Found you via pinterest about the date jar-such a cute idea! Would love to try EMeals. $15 isn’t too bad for 3 months of anything but free would be better ๐ I would probably choose the regular meal plan for 2.

I follow you (under a different gmail account) =) and would chose the family meal plan from any other store (since our grocery store isn’t listed).
