I’m up late searching for inspiration for Braylen’s birthday party. Honestly, I’ve never waited this late to get started but I’m wise enough to know that it will all come together beautifully in the end. I’m going to draw inspiration from some of the photos on this board and try to keep it low-key. Just a cute food and sweets tables and plenty of dress-up clothes for the tiny guests. The party will be full of pink and frill, per her request for jus’ a plain pink princess party. Say that 5 times fast.
- I have Sweet Birdie’s Nest and The Doughmestic Housewife working their creative magic on party decor, I can’t wait to see what they come up with!
- I’ve dreamed of having a birthday party in this house before it was even ours. The old house just wasn’t laid out well enough for toddler parties, I can’t wait to try this one out.
- I’m thankful for spring break at the end of this month. I foresee tons of party prep during that week and tons of help from my mom, as usual.
- In the end, it won’t be about the party planning or the stress, it will be about celebrating another year with our favorite girl with the people we love.

If you haven’t already, check out littebabygarvin.blogspot.com. She just did a party for her 1 year old and it looks like you could use a lot of the same ideas for decor. Look in the Feb 2013 archives for her party posts and good luck! ๐

Check out TJ Maxx! I always see super cute party things there and I even found paper straws there for Wyatt’s party. I’m sure it will be adorable.

Jennifer, I just spent all of nap time reading through your blog and I’m addicted! I love your writing style and when you add in the cuteness of Braylen, it’s a perfect combination. ๐ I know her “jus a plain pink princess party” will be adorable. Happy party planning!

Oh gosh, I love everything about this! My hubby actually made me a pink ombre cake for my birthday and while not perfect, it was so pretty and fun!! Can’t wait to see what all you come up with! And I second the advice to check out Little Baby Garvin’s post on her daughter’s first bday…. really cute and same look that you’re going for! ๐
ps – I’m cracking up over your FB update —- at least she’s confident!!! Too funny!!

We are doing the exact same party theme this year! All E will talk about is her “Princess party!”. She’s so excited. We’re doing pink and silver/gray. We might have to chat party ideas!
