I tend to over think things, I’ll admit that. With Easter, I know that it isn’t important what she gets in her Easter basket. I know that the most important thing is that she understands that reason that we celebrate Easter. At the same time, there is a part of me that lives for these things. Brightly colored eggs and Easter basket full of fun little goodies, bring out the best in my creativity. We certainly won’t go overboard for Easter, I tend to use holidays like this to slip in some necessities that we will soon need. A beach towel? A swimsuit? Fun new sandals? You bet! I always get her something she’ll be able to use and play with right away, but it’s certainly acceptable at our house to not go overboard for this holiday. I’m also taking full advantage of the fact that anything new makes her excited.
I wanted to share a few of my favorite Easter basket ideas for toddlers with you today.

50 picks! You are rocking it girl! ๐
I have picked up little things here and there for W while out and about and need to be finished. It’s like Christmas in a basket over here!!!
Poor John will probably get a book, an outfit, and something soft and cuddly, but hey, he’ll only be about a month. That’s all he needs right!?!?!
Have a great day!

Nice! This is an impressive list, Jennifer!
Molly broke her slinky a few weeks ago, so a new one of those is going in her basket, as well as a bottle of glue and a roll of tape. Can you tell we’re really into crafts over here? ๐ Both kiddos are getting books and swim suits and beach towels. That’s a classic Easter basket gift (to me, anyway!). If I can get to the toy store, I want to put one of the Melissa and Doug clocks in Molly’s basket – she’s totally into telling time, but has no idea what her watch says! I definitely stay away from candy since I know she’ll get plenty from the grandparents.

I am pretty much done with Andrew’s Easter basket-
In it I have a Melissa & Doug Chunky Puzzle
Some M&D crayons, a coloring book, some small, $1 spot board books (peter rabbit)
Cat in the Hat Book & Cat in the Hat toy (he loves the show on PBS)
A truck and some GoGoSqueez pouches- am still trying to decide on another treat that is healthy to put in there!
I was thinking of getting him a stuffed bunny, but he rarely plays with stuffed toys so I figured I’d get him more books or trucks instead. LOL

This is such an amazing list!! Thank you for sharing!! To be honest I haven’t even thought about my kids Easter baskets yet!! With blissdom coming up and my babies 1st birthday the end of this month, Easter has been on the back burner. Hoping to get it together soon! ๐
