It doesn’t matter what the occasion is, I always find myself wondering what I’ll wear and (sometimes) stressing over that little question. Blissdom was no different, I wanted to dress cute and trendy for this (almost) all women’s event. I have this irrational fear of having an Elle Woods moment. You know what I’m talking about, right? Where she shows up to the party dressed in costume and no one else is in costume. Now, I don’t think I’ll be going to any places or events dressed in costume, but I’m always afraid I’m going to walk in extremely underdressed or overdressed. It’s a real fear, y’all, just asked my friends, I probably drive them crazy.
This year, I knew a little more about Blissdom so any of those moments were out of my head, but I also had Ella Madison on my side to ensure that I looked my best for Blissdom. A few weeks before I left, Heather sent some pieces for me to wear at the conference. Can we stop here and talk about how nice that was? I’m even contemplating handing over my clothing allowance and letting her do that for me every month.
We chatted briefly via email about the events and what type of dress would be appropriate and she nailed it!
The mint top in the picture above has become one of my favorite pieces, I actually wore it today. It’s the perfect spring transition piece. She also sent the multi-colored chevron dress and the most comfortable coral dolman shirt and a matching scarf. AP and I had the best time dressing up in our new Ella Madison pieces and styling the outfits to match our own personalities.
