I haven’t linked up with Darci and friends for Five on Friday in a few weeks. It seems like the end of the week is always more hectic than the beginning. But, I’m back, a little late, but still here.
1. BK’s first dance class was last night. I’m not exactly sure how she’s old enough to be dancing in tiny ballet and tap shoes. In my eyes, she should still be sleeping half of the day and needing me to do everything for her. But, no, she went into a room by herself yesterday and the door shut behind her and danced away for 45 minutes. Then, came out smiling and telling me about how she learned “eel step, eel step.”
2. Did I tell you I’m back in the classroom? The school year is in full swing and I’ve promised a few of you a classroom tour, I promise it’s coming, but until then, here’s a picture of it a few days before school started.
3. I don’t think I ever posted this picture from Open House, and if I didn’t then you aren’t aware that my child wanted to stay at school that night. I’m just thankful that she loves her school, it definitely beats the alternative.
4. Just as soon as I can get out the door, we are headed south for one last beach trip. Bags are packed and I am beyond ready for sandy beaches and blue ocean views. BK went on with my parents this morning, so Allen and I are going to sneak in a little date at Louisiana Lagniappe as soon as we get there, before we even locate the condo.
5. I may be headed to the beach, but tons of my friends are headed to Atlanta to watch the Tide’s opening game. Lauren Coppage, from the World of Coke sent me a great list of things to do while in town for the game this weekend. Will you be in Atlanta? Check these things out:
