Today, we’re talking about studies or books that have been life changers for you. We’re talking real game changers, put down the book and make a real change kind of studies.
And we want to hear all about yours too.
You can share on your blog and link up with us below. Be sure to check out the Courtney, Kelly, and Erin’s blogs today, too.
I just finished up the James study by Beth Moore and it certainly rocked my world. I love that in this study Beth Moore doesn’t just talk about going out and doing something but over the course of the study their were several service projects embedded to hold us accountable.
And do you know what that did for me?
It made me realize that my actions don’t have to grand, nor do they have to be elaborately planned. The simple acts of giving, from my heart, those are the things that really matter. Because God has better plans than anything I could dream up in my head, and if I stop and look around there are ways to put my faith into action all around me.
Putting our faith into action look different for everyone. My greatest take away from the past 8 weeks has simply been to stop and look around. Who around me needs something? Who is right in front of me that I may be overlooking? A co-worker? A friend? A stranger at the gas station?
Someone who is hurting, someone who needs a friend, someone who needs groceries today. I don’t have to search far and wide, I just need to stop and look.
There is always someone.
James 2:18: Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.”
Share with me your life-changing study, we’re ready to start a new one and I would love to hear from you!
