That top is non-maternity from Shop Riff Raff (of course!), jeans are AG maternity skinnies, and boots are Frye Melissa buttons.
Funny story, I wasn’t going to include a new picture this week because we’ve been snowed in and I haven’t really changed out of pajamas. But, I really wanted a hamburger last night and I had to get ready to actually leave the house. The things I’ll do for good food!
How Far Along: 28 weeks (technically 29 weeks today, but I try to recap the week before)
Size of baby: Baby #2 is the size of a Chinese cabbage
Total Weight Gain/Loss: +22 per my last appointment, I only gained around 4 pounds this time. Much better than the 8 I gained at the last appointment.
Maternity Clothes: Pants and a few tops, but y’all Riff Raff is saving my wardrobe, and I’ll get to continue wearing these pieces after the baby comes!
Gender: Its a boy, he might have a name ๐
Movement: All of the time and I’m absolutely loving it!
Sleep: I sleep a solid 6 hours each night and its pretty fantastic, I’ll take it as long as I can get it!
What I miss: Just the vain things, nothing important.
Cravings: Still stuck on breakfast casserole. I’m like a crazy person when it comes to breakfast foods and I’m more serious about breakfast than any other meal of the day.
Symptoms: the most dry and itchy skin I’ve ever experienced in my life. It is ridiculous. I know this cold weather isn’t helping, but goodness I’m ready for this dry skin to be a thing of the past. I invested in an arsenal of skincare products with little to no relief.
Best Moment this week: We had a great time celebrating Allen’s birthday and I’m happy to be sitting comfortably in the third trimester, I can almost see the end these days. Almost.
How about a hotel selfie from the start of the third trimester? I don’t know that I would get ready more than once or twice a week if it wasn’t for work, so I’m thankful I have that accountability. I might just wear yoga pants and Allen’s Polo tee’s otherwise, I know, he’s a lucky guy.

You look absolutely gorgeous! At this point in my pregnancy, I stopped getting dressed or looking pretty! Pure laziness.

Have you tried coconut oil for the dry skin? Organic coconut oil is beyond great. Smells pretty fabulous too!
