Judson-
Here we are at another month! They seem to come and go faster with each passing month. You went to the beach for the first time this past month and you really enjoyed the pool and sinking your toes in the sand. You didn’t last too long on the beach and spent most of the days being loved on in the condo.
You’re much more mobile this day and interact with us really well. You’re showing signs that you might want to start eating soon.
You know what you want and you let us know that you want something really quick. Overall, you’re still easygoing and laid back. Your big sister is still the one you adore. She can always make you smile.
At five months:
- Eating- you eat every 3 hours during the day.
- You’re schedule is not so great these days. Technically, you should be on the next MOC schedule, but that would require eating solids and we’re not ready for that just yet (we’ll be doing Baby Led Weaning). You take a few short naps during the day and one longer nap in the evenings. You sleep from 8:00-8:00 in your crib with two wake ups (one around 12:00 and one around 4:00). So much sleep regression.
- You love to be rocked and held.
- You’re rolling and scooting (on your tummy) everywhere.
- You still love bath time.
- You love being outside, moving, the exersaucer, chewing on toys, blowing raspberries, Sophie, soft blankets, and the mamaroo.
- You babble and “talk” all of the time. If I had to guess, I’d say you’re going to be a talker like your big sister.
- You want to chew or suck on everything, including your fists.
- Youre still exclusively nursing.
- Youll take your paci if youre really tired.
- You still love to be talked to, youre content to sit and coo and make noises at anyone who stops and says hi to you. Its not hard to get you to smile or laugh.
- Youre the most ticklish baby I’ve ever met!
- You weigh around 16 pounds.
- You wear a size 3 diaper (but not for long) and 6-12 month clothes.

I love these! I do monthly updates for Skylor as well and I love seeing how others write theirs! The hand holding on to the crib is SOO cute!
