I do understand that it’s almost March, but I wanted to go back to February for this post. Back to Valentine’s day, the day of love. Also known as, the day of preschool crafts, construction paper hearts, and more candy than I’d like my child to consume in an entire year.
Of course, we made Valentine’s for BK’s class. Are you kidding? I chose teaching kindergarten as a profession, I’ll take scorers and glue and twine and crafts any day of the week.
Everything was themed for Valentine’s day, including my morning devotionals for the week.
For school, I printed these cards using PicMonkey and with a little wash tape and a pack of bubbles from Target, we came up with these adorable Valentine’s for her friends. She even wrote the names on all of the cards!
She brought home two little books from her class party, 5 Reasons I love mom (and dad). I laughed out loud when I read through her reasons. I especially loved these two pages, her love me because I cook her healthy foods, and who doesn’t love cinnamon rolls. It pretty much sums up the two of us perfectly.
And because last year we made Valentine’s for BK’s dance friends, I assumed we would do the same this year. We definitely took Valentine’s to a nonexistent Valentine’s party. Oh well. She was super happy to pass out her fancy Valentine’s to all of her friends. Another quick print from PicMonkey and a pack of ring erasers and they were all set to go.
I couldn’t resist sharing some of the shots from their mini session with Jessica. Poor Jud was recovering from an ear infection and I was thrilled that he didn’t cry the second I put him down. He wasn’t giving us any laughs, but he was a trooper to sit and take this sweet pictures with BK.
I’d just like to bottle up this sweetness and keep it forever.
Forever and ever.
