It’s the week of Valentine’s Day and I’m sure things are in full swing. Or if you’re like me, you still have help your kindergartener make a Valentine’s day bag and finish up Valentine’s for her class by Wednesday.
Here are five of my favorite Valentines from recent years. This is always one of my favorite projects to complete with BK! Best of all? None of them involve candy.
ONE – Hair Ties
These are definitely my favorite! We handed out creaseless hair ties to our dance friends one year and they were certainly a hit. You can find the original post and printable here.
TWO — Play-doh Valentines
This one works for boys and girls. Just package up a small container of play-doh and a cutter (you can buy sets of these in the toy section), seal it with a the printable sticker and you’re all set. You can find the instructions and printables here.
THREE — Shopkins
These tiny toys are all the rage at our house, so the girls in BK’s class are getting their own Shopkin for Valentine’s Day this year. This was the perfect solution to her constantly wanting to take her Shopkins to school and share with her friends, I’m sure her teacher is thrilled that I make sure her Shopkins collection doesn’t make it into her back pack in the morning. The boys are getting a different treat, but it’ll be just as fun! You can find the printable here.
FOUR — Sticker Valentines
I’m itching to recreate these! BK still loves stickers and now Jud is following close behind. These work for boys and girls and are always a hit. They were so simple and precious! You can find the instructions and printables here.
FIVE — Bubbles
You find these bubbles in a pack in the seasonal section at Target. I just created a header with a cute font on Word, printed and cut the cardstock into strips. From there, just stick them onto the cardstock with washi tape.

These are all very cute, but the hair ties are genius! I love them, and I love how easy it is!
