Who doesn’t love a good road trip? It’s one of my favorite things and when I have one on the calendar, I look forward to it for weeks! But, you know what’s the one thing that can ruin a road trip in a minute? Not being prepared. I hate forgetting things or leaving important items at home. I know I can always go purchase a new one, but there’s just some comfort in having your own things, especially when you’re away from home. I also love to be prepared in the car on the way to our destination.
Here are some of my favorite things to take along with us:
1.My toothbrush. It’s totally at the top of my list! I love to take along my favorite toothpaste, too! The Aquafresh Multi Action Whitening with Sugar Acid Protection gets that title. Mainly, because the brand is one that I know and trust, but also because of the Sugar Acid Protection, provided by active fluoride, to strengthen and shield teeth against sugar acid attack from everyday foods and drinks, the key cause of cavities. I also love for my toothpaste to whiten (don’t we all?), Aquafresh® toothpaste does a great job of whitening while also keeping gums healthy*, strengthening enamel and freshening breath. Since sugar acid can be dangerous to teeth, I keep my toothpaste, toothbrush and floss at arms reach, being sure to brush twice a day (at minimum and not more than three times a day), but I typically break out the toothbrush throughout the day.
2. A great bag to hold all of your favorite things. I like to bring a smaller bag to keep with me, so I’m not digging through luggage when I need something quick.
3. Favorite snacks. I used to be big on eating anything and everything on road trips, but I find that packing snacks helps keep me on track.
4. Camera. I love a good camera, but an instant camera is also a great addition to a road trip.
5. Lip balm because I can never be too far without it!
6. Great reads to relax and enjoy. What about you? What are some of your favorite things to take on a road trip?
*with twice daily brushing
