Mother’s Day is approaching fast and I never quite know what gift to give to say thank you for all the amazing things my mom does for me. Still, even as an adult with children of my own. There isn’t a party or event in my life where she doesn’t drop what she’s doing to come and help me take care of what I need.

When I think about the love and selflessness she shows, I can’t help but hope I pass that on to Braylen, too. That when she’s up late at night with her babies, I’m the one she calls, just to talk. That I’ll be able to sense in her voice when she needs me and drop what I’m doing to go and help her out, without a second thought. More than anything, I hope she has a sense of comfort in knowing that I’m always just a phone call away, like I have with my mom.

There are so many wonderful things my mother instilled me and I am forever grateful for all that she did for me to shape me into the woman I am today. She instilled a sense of kindness and love, taught me about being a good friend, and she is a shining example of goodness and love.
