Happy Wednesday, friends! It’s time for another round of Wardrobe Wednesday!! Yay! You can link up with us below, Kristin is blogging about styling her latest Stitch Fix keep (and really do her fashion posts ever disappoint??).
Can we shift from clothes to beauty this week? Is anyone else as lost as I am when you walk into Sephora? I mean, I love getting dressed up and putting on makeup as much as the next person, but I’m a creature of habit and I don’t venture far from familiarity. I’ll definitely try a new product, and I don’t tend to be brand loyal, but it’s usually because the person on the sales floor showed me how to use it and told me why I needed it in my life.
So, here are five things I’m using right now that I wouldn’t want to go without.
ONE- Batiste Dry Shampoo – I think I’ve tried at least 10 different dry shampoos and this is my current favorite. I’m able to skip days between washing and drying my hair, it gives me way more time in the mornings, too! I love that it gives me volume and makes my hair smell really good!
TWO- Urban Decay Glide On Eye Liner– I would have been the first to tell you that I couldn’t tell a difference in eye liner. I usually just pick some up at the Drug Store, but last week while I was trying to choose between 73 types of bronzer, the sweet lady at Sephora hooked me up with this amazing find. And I’m here to say, there is a difference and I’ll be wearing this eyeliner until someone convinces me there’s a better option out there.
THREE- Philosophy Pure Grace – Do you even know how good this smells? Like, if you were wearing it and I caught a whiff, I would swear you just stepped out of the shower. It smells like clean. I have it in the lotion and the body wash, because who doesn’t want to smell fantastic all day long?
FOUR- Ipsy Bag – So I started an Ipsy bag subscription to help me find amazing products and I just got my first bag this month. It’s only $10 each month and you get product and an adorable bag each time. I’m sold, especially since the bag had actual things I could use and wasn’t loaded with samples. Here’s hoping this helps me branch out a little more. I did Google how to use that brush that came and it works nicely!
FIVE- OPI Let’s Be Friends – How perfect is this pinkish/white nail color for summer? Each time I choose a pink or white that looks really light on the swatch, it ends up being more translucent. I was pleasantly surprised at how great this looked once it was painted on and I think we’ll see it in heavy rotation this season!
SIX – Lorac Tantilizer Bronzer – I actually purchased this as a sample and it is working great! I use very little, so this should get me through the summer. It goes on smooth and doesn’t look like I just stepped out of the tanning bed, it has a great natural look.
