It’s Wednesday, so that means it’s time for another Wardrobe Wednesday with . I’m showing you my latest Stitch Fix today.
In case you aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix:
You fill out a style profile, complete with tons of questions about your style, and size. Then, you schedule your fix and it comes straight to your door. What exactly do I mean by fix? Its a box put together by a stylist (based on your profile) and it includes 5 different items.
The initial cost of the box is $20, BUT you can use that $20 as a credit if you chose to keep at least one thing from the box. The box also comes with a prepaid postage envelope to ship back the things you dont like. So, free shipping and free returns, and you only lose the 20 bucks if you dont like a single thing in the box. I’m not kidding when I tell you that about 1/3 of my closet is filled with Stitch Fix items!
Let’s take a look at what was in the box this time.
ONE: Mystree- Adelene Scoop Neck Cable Knit Sweater $68 – This sweater was a little more than I wanted to pay, but it’s so comfortable and cozy and I promised myself that I would wear more sweaters this fall. This just seemed like the perfect piece for fall. Verdict: Keep
TWO: Pistola- Tori Distressed Ankle Zip Skinny $88- I loved these jeans. Remember last month when they sent those great distressed jeans that I needed a different size in to be able to keep? Well, these were great, too! And just like the others, would require no hemming. But, I have a similar pair and was really looking for an option that looked a little more dressy. I’m still holding out for those from last month. Verdict: Return.
Three: Market and Spruce: Cosimo Lace Up Tunic $68- This was a no all around for me. It fit weird, the style was strange, and I definitely didn’t think it was worth nearly seventy bucks. Verdict: Return.
Four: Absolutely Chloe Sleeveless Cardigan $48. I’m not even sure where I would wear this or what I would wear it with, I saw the style card, but it didn’t look with several different options I tried to make it work, but my face in the picture sums it all up. Verdict: Return.
FIVE: Gilli: Anissa Jersey Dress $68. I did ask for a great shift dress, but this wasn’t quite what I had in mind. Even though, it’s a really cute dress and it fit me, I’m not sure I would actually have a ton of places to wear it, I need more things that I can dress up or dress down, so this went back, too. Verdict: Return.
So I kept the sweater and overall I’m super happy. I have a great fall piece in my closet, sent straight to my door. The stylist did a great job with that one and I would take a closet full! I’m sort of regretting sending those jeans back, but I’ll just be sure to tell my next stylist to be on the look out for a great dark-distressed pair for my next fix.
