Dear Mom, You seriously have mad gift-giving skills (and listening skills). I mentioned in passing about looking for new luggage and had several of these pieces under the tree for a Christmas morning surprise. I’m currently using this one on our trip and I love how easy it is to organize everything will all of those pockets. Nothing better than something amazingly thoughtful and useful!
Dear New Crock Pot, You bring a new level of awesome to my life. You help with my desire to do as few dishes as possible and my phobia of putting raw meat straight in the crock pot. You’re a genius with your pot that allows stove top browning. I don’t know how I lived without you for so long.
Dear Playroom, You’re going to be functional and organized and everything my playroom dreams are made of, soon. Those dreams definitely include no rogue legos to my feet and Ikea Alex drawers. For now, I’m loving this work in progress.
Dear Allen, Thanks for taking my crappy drawings and bring them to life. You made quick work of the new book shelves and cubbies for toy storage and I couldn’t be happier with the way it looks.
Dear Braylen Kate, Could you be any smarter? Seriously,your report card blew us away. You blow through chapter books, and impress me with your mind on a daily basis. We are so proud of you, but even more than your smarts? We’re proud of how kind and thoughtful you are, never lose that.
Dear Anthro Sale – Stop it! Seriously, you’re now making me second guess my Christmas decor because I want it all to center around these amazing stockings.
Dear 2017, Slow down just a bit and let us get it together? I think we’re going to have some good times this year.
Dear Gatlinburg, I am so excited to spend a long weekend exploring your shops and trails. I wasn’t prepared for the devastation today as we drove to our cabin for the weekend. I have no doubt you’ll be stronger as you rebuild, but it is truly heartbreaking to see the mountains so bare.
Dear Judson’s Curls, I don’t care if you cause everyone to mistake him for a girl. You’re definitely going to stay for as long as he’s cool with you. We did have to trim, but only because the weight was making you straight. I was so happy to see all of those pretty ringlets again.
Dear Current Television Obsessions, I absolutely want to love you so I can contribute to all the conversations that seem to surround you, but I just can’t. I’m looking at you This Is Us and The Bachelor. I really tried, but I just don’t think we’re right for each other.
Dear Real Cooking Sets, Thank you for not being a Easy Bake Oven. Seriously. Thank you for using real tools and having fantastic instructions, and tools that really help children learn about cooking. BK could handle this start to finish, including cracking the eggs with that amazing contraption in her kit. We’re huge fans of all of your products, and we’re using things in this set for so many other jobs in the kitchen! 
Dear National Championship Game, You were a nail biter, and at the last second, a heart breaker. You provided us with one last game and the first 3.5 quarters did not disappoint. Those final seconds though… you can have them back. 🙂

1. Yes to the Bachelor. I tried, but I barely gagged my way through the first episode. It’s just not for me. (This is Us is a different story…)
2. Those cooking kits!! Ella got an easy bake oven for Christmas (eyeroll) and she’s already forgotten about it. Maybe these need to appear in our Easter Baskets instead.
3. That game. I’m still not over it.
I normally place high value in your opinions. You give me FOMO on a regular basis. But you don’t L-O-V-E “This Is Us”? What is wrong with you, girl??? (Said with a kind heart)
