Beach Photos

Last week (or maybe the week before that) while we were at the beach, Brooke took some photos of our family. The last photos we had taken were for Christmas cards, so I was really itching to get a few updated family photos for a gallery wall in the study. Lucky for us, we were actually traveling with a photographer. I can’t say enough good things about Brooke’s photos, but she’s also incredibly gracious with her time. She didn’t have to take time out of our beach trip to squeeze in these photos, but I’m grateful that she did.

We took these photos before dinner one night, and I adore each and every one of them. I’m happy to capture this sweet season in our life. Obviously, one day we would love to add to our family, but for now we’re enjoying these days and soaking up this time, just the three of us.

I can’t help but think BK looks way too old in this picture, but it captures her personality just perfectly. Her big smile and happy eyes are never hard to find, even on our toughest toddler days, she can turn that smile on in a flash.

And this picture of Allen and BK melts my heart each and every time I look at it, it’s definitely a framer and I think we’ll cherish it for years to come.

 

These are certainly my people, the ones who make my days so sweet, the faces that I kiss goodnight and wake up to each morning. I couldn’t be more blessed by these two, and I am so thankful that I get to spend my days with them.
