Happy Monday, friends!
The weekends are always over too quickly around here. I’m left wondering how that two days goes by quicker than any other two days of the week. I promise Monday and Tuesday won’t go by that quickly. Trust me.
I really meant to take more pictures today, but at the end of the day I only ended up with three. That’s a tough habit to get into, really stopping to document my day. Hopefully, I’ll be better at that by the end of this series.
I did wake up to one of my favorite verses this morning. A great reminder of God’s sweet promises. This verse was on my mind all day. I even wrote it on a Post-It and stuck it to my computer this morning.
I’m unsure of the origin of this pretty print, I found it on Pinterest, if you have the info, let me know and I’ll include it.I left right after school today and went to Pure Barre with my friend, Leah. It’s so nice to have someone hold me accountable, because today would have been a day I would have skipped right over. It definitely kicked my tail today, I was dying during thighs. I can’t say that I ever really look forward to working out, but I never walk out the door regretting the workout. I am always so glad I did.
Allen worked late tonight. A big thumbs down to that fact. I sure do miss him when he’s working late. It’s also a great reminder to be thankful for all of the little things that he does. Our night time routine is much easier when we share a little of the responsibility. BK and I baked some chocolate and pumpkin muffins. This is the 2 point recipe from WW, my mom used to make them and it’s a quick and easy pumpkin fix. Just mix together a box of Devil’s Food cake mix and a can of pumpkin puree, spoon into a mini muffin tin, and bake at 400 degrees for about 12 minutes. It’s a great way to satisfy a sweet tooth without going overboard.
I cooked a big pot of Taco Soup for dinner. The weather was perfect today, and I even dusted off my boots for the second time this season. Here’s hoping they can come out to stay.
Hopefully, I’ll take a few more pictures tomorrow and show you that my life doesn’t revolve around food. Even though I know it clearly looks that way.

Girl! No wonder you are tired!!! You are working, Purre Barring, baking, making dinner and doing Mommy duty while your hubby is out late – all while growing a baby!! You make me tired! …but your food sure does look delish!

I don’t know how you fit it all in!! Before staying home I was a Kindergarten teacher, and I don’t think I ever got that much done after school and I didn’t even have a child yet!!

There’s nothing wrong with life revolving around food! ๐
I love that verse, too. I actually have it tapped to my computer monitor.
Happy Tuesday!
