I feel like our days are the same every day, I apologize if this series is a complete bore. I must say, I’m enjoying this whole blogging about our everyday thing. It’s a fun way to share the little things and I know I’ll be happy I have it when I look back on these posts one day.
And tomorrow will definitely be a bit more interesting, we get to sneak a peek at the tiny new addition at my appointment. Braylen is most excited about the appointment, she really wants to go and wave to Baby Sue and Baby Jesus (yes, she’s still convinced I’m having twins). Actually, she announced the other night that she hopes it’s three babies so she can name the last one Gordon. I ask Allen where she came up with that and he said, Sounds like she’s been watching too many fish stick commercials to me. Either way, none of those names on the short list.
I woke up to temperatures in the mid-50’s and even though I knew they would rise throughout the day, I quickly grabbed boots and sweater. I’m pretty sure that the temperatures will be on the rise for the rest of this week, so I couldn’t resist the chance.
We had a rather uneventful day at school, which is just how I like it to be. Leah and I headed to Pure Barre again right when school was over. I’m not sure how the rest of the week will go, and I try to get a quick workout in any chance I get these days.
I remembered that I was supposed to pick up chicken for tonights dinner and I completely forgot. I spent most of class thinking about what I wanted to eat for dinner. Thankfully, there is a Jim ‘N Nick’s drive through right beside Pure Barre. It sparred me a trip inside with my workout clothes on, and the clean-up was way easier than if I would have cooked at home.
After dinner, I decided that we should probably tackle the playroom. It was long overdue and I had been avoiding the whole situation for way too long. Braylen said she was going to help, but really she just dressed up like LaLa Loopsy and pranced around in her high heels. The playroom is always a good reminder that I don’t have control all of the time, and everything can’t always be perfect. I let it go for as long as I can, but then I have to give into my type-A ways and get it cleaned and organized.
And because you can’t fully understand the state of the playroom without a visual, I’m showing you that it really was that bad.
And you know I wouldn’t dare show you a before picture like that without sharing a much different after picture. It honestly didn’t take too long, everything just needed to go in its place. Allen even vacuumed for me. He’s a real winner, I’m telling you.
I promptly came downstairs and typed this blog post and I have every intention of heading straight to bed.
Hope your week is off to a great start.

I love the details! I love that Kelly’s Korner always tells us the little things like what they ate and what they wore – it’s what makes all of us get attached ๐ Also, older sibs coming up with names is always my favorite! So random and funny!

I like these! You will have fun going back and reading them one day, too. Love the sweater and my mouth is now watering for BBQ at 8am.
My girls are trashing the playroom as I type. Real life stuff. ๐

Loving that sweater, sweet girl! You look so cute in it with the boots:)
Also loving these blog everyday posts you’re doing. You will look back and laugh remembering the comments like the one Allen said about the fisherman commercials that you otherwise would never have recalled without this little blog record. Also, kudos to you for working out and then cleaning house. The playroom looks great!!!

Your playroom reminds me of ours. Now if only I could get an after picture to look as good as yours! ๐

I love this fun series you’re doing. The everyday stuff is why I started reading blogs. I think you have the cutest little family and I think it’s so funny what Braylen is saying about twins (and triplets) and the names she has picked out.
