I pulled out the blue this week because we’re having a BOY!!!
How Far Along: 19 weeks
Size of baby: Baby #2 is the size of a tomato, an heirloom tomato to be exact
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Right around 10 pounds. Whoa, baby we’re talking double digits!
Maternity Clothes: Loving my jeans, my tops are still fitting and I go between full on maternity and the Bella Band. One thing is certain, my pants aren’t buttoning.
Gender: A baby boy!! We could not be more excited about the blue and all things boy that are about to come into our life.
Movement: I’m still not feeling movement on a consistent basis. He was moving around on the ultrasound so we know there is no need to worry, but I’d still like to feel some consistent kicks.
Sleep: Fantastic. I sleep from the time my head hits the pillow until I hit snooze a few times.
What I miss: Just vain things like being able to pick out anything in my closet and wear it.
Cravings: Nothing specific or noteworthy, just food will do ๐
Symptoms: Im really feeling good in this second trimester, cruising to the uncomfortable third, so Ill take this easy time as long as I can get it.
Best Moment this week: Finding out the gender and playing the name game with Allen. Braylen is pretty set on Jesus, so we’ll have to work on her, but we have his name narrowed down. I’ll report back when I know for sure.
And because I’m nearly half-way through this pregnancy. Technically, I am half-way through since we’ll likely be having a repeat c-section at 39 weeks, I thought I’d share a few of my pregnancy must-haves:
- Bump Nest Pillow- First up is the amazing Bump Nest pillow that I’ve been raving about for the past few weeks. I can’t tell you how much I love this pillow and I’m not the only one. Allen requested our pillows be made out of “whatever they make these things out of,” and Braylen wants to cuddle up in the middle of it anytime she gets on our bed. Don’t worry, I always pull the pregnancy card and end up with the pillow, it is mine, afterall. I didn’t have a pregnancy pillow with Braylen, and I was obviously missing out. These are machine washable and come in several trendy patters, but the best part is the softness. The comfort of this pillow is amazing, and I look forward to snuggling up to it in bed every night. If you’re in search of a pregnancy pillow, this is what you need, you can use the code GREENTEN and get $10 0ff plus free shipping.
- Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Tummy Butter– It’s what I attribute to my lack of stretch marks with BK, I think this stuff is the real deal and it’s not pricey at all.
- Ingrid & Isabel Women’s Everyday Cami– My favorite pregnancy tank top, it’s long and not constricting at all. I have a few of them and wear them almost daily.
- – Another product I have loved during this first half of my pregnancy. I know you’ve heard me talk about it in my weekly updates. This thing is amazing! Seriously. It allows me to wear some of my favorite pants, even when buttoning them becomes a joke.
- iPhone apps- I am loving a few apps that I downloaded in the beginning of this pregnancy. BabyBump is my number one, it gives me so much information and I love reading the daily updates. Others apps I love are the Foods To Avoid and Approved Medicines, I love having all of the information I need right at my fingertips. Literally.
- AG Maternity Jeans– The jeans I absolutely raved about last week. I don’t think I’ll put on anything else that remotely compares to this lovely piece of denim. I want a few other styles, but I’m practicing some restraint. After all, I’m already half-way there!
- Water- And plenty of it! I love my CamelBak bottle, it is definitely a pregnancy staple.
What am I missing? I would love to hear some of your pregnancy must-haves!

Congrats on a boy, what a cute top! Hmm my pregnancy must haves…a heating pad for my back, and crackers for morning sickness. It was quite the glamorous pregnancy =)
