Remember that time I was recapping Disney on the blog? Good gracious, I’m behind. I have this post plus two more recaps AND then I’ have some great posts about food and entertaining littles and all of my favorite tips. I promise to work really hard to get those on the blog for you soon, which means, I promise to stop being a total slacker when it comes to blog posts.
Let’s talk about Disney World, our fourth day, which would have been the Wednesday of the week we were there. I always plan a little deprive in the middle of the week, and let’s be real, we never actually take a break. It just means that I haven’t planned tons of stuff for the whole day.
My mom was the best about researching our trip. I gave her instructions to find things we didn’t do last time or tips we might have missed out on it, and she definitely delivered. One of my favorite suggestions was to head to Animal Kingdom early in the morning for the best animal sightings.
We arrived right when the park opened and headed straight to the stand-by line for the safari. Remember when I told you we didn’t wait in line much at all? This was a great example, I grabbed the kids a snack before we went ventured to the standby line and they didn’t even finish eating before we had to board.
We had the best safari experience, ever. We literally had to wait for the animals to get out of the road at some points.
After the Safari we headed over to the Nemo show. This was the first time we’ve caught the Nemo show, we typically run out of time at Animal Kingdom or find ourselves there on the most humid day of the year. It ranks right up there with the Lion King show as far as entertainment goes. Those two shows are two of my favorite attractions.
We hopped on over to Epcot after our morning at Animal Kingdom. It was the first day of the Flower and Garden Festival and also the first day to hunt eggs around the countries. We picked up an egg-hunting map and stickers and started our hunt.
It was such a beautiful day and I’m always impressed with the food and flowers during the festival. We grabbed lunch in France, literally just an array of sandwiches, creme brûlée, croissants, and all the carbs. We loaded up a tray full of goodness and everyone ate some of everything. Which is my favorite kind of meal, I will legit share my food with you and do a variety plate style dinner any day of the week. I don’t double-dip, so I’m a really good person to share with.
We rode a few more rides before heading back to the room to take a little break and freshen up before dinner. I don’t have many great photos from dinner at O’hanna, but I did take a picture of my favorite dessert ever. I can play the one-bite rule for ALL the things, except for this bread pudding.

It’s so good! I’m glad it’s not readily available to me in real life, I would need it often!
